MASTER*BOARD™ Topic Administrator Help

If the Main Administrator of this Master*Board™ system approves a topic you created, then you will have special administrative privileges for that topic. You will become the "Topic Administrator" for the created topic.

From within your created topic, a new hyper link called "Topic Admin" will appear (only when you or the Main Administator enters this area) next to "Post A Message To This Topic" & "Return To Topics."

Click on "Topic Admin" to view the "Topic Administrator Control Panel."

TOPIC ADMINISTRATOR CONTROL PANEL

The Topic Administrator Control Panel gives you full control over your created topic. The following options are available to you:

Administrate Messages
Administrate Topics
Administrate Users
Edit Topic Settings
View This Topic

Administrate Messages

In the Administrate Messages section, you can view, remove, and rank messages. Messages, by default, are sorted by "ranking" first and then by alphabetical order. Assigning a ranking between 1-10 to specific messages will allow those message to appear in the order you prefer. For example, you may have an introductory message created to welcome people into your topic. Setting the ranking for the introductory message to "1" will force that message to always appear first when people visit your topic.

Administrate Topics

As a Topic Administrator, you are authorized to approve any "sub-topics" created under your topic. This area will allow you to do this.

Administrate Users

This area allows you, as the topic administrator, to manage message and access for members who enter your topic. If a Master*Board™ member is behaving unruly in your topic, you have the option to Ban that member. You can also delete all messages posted to your topic by a specific member.

Edit Topic Settings

This area allows you to update your Topic Settings. For example, if you wish to change the wording of your Topic Description, you may do so here or if you wish to make members accept a Topic Agreement Message before entering your topic, you can make these changes here.

View This Topic

This area displays the contents of your topic including all messages posted.
