For those of you new to runes, they are symbolic glyphs, which are traditionally etched or painted into stone or wood. Each glyph has a special meaning for you. Simply focus on your question and ask the runes for answers. Questions should be more general than detailed. As an example, it is better to ask the question, "should I make a career change"? Instead of "should I go into real estate or insurance"? The runes are meant to guide you spiritually, and are not concerned with man-made details, per se. You may want to break a question up into two separate readings, something like this: "should I follow the career path of real estate?" and, wait for an answer. Then, the second question: "should I follow the career path of insurance?" and wait for that answer. Compare both answers before making your decision. It is advised not to "overask" a question, as you will wind up getting gibberish for answers, for the runes have a sense of humor!
In ancient times, the runes taught through poetry and rhyme. Their meanings have been changed, translated and virtually rewritten throughout the ages of time. Today, the meanings have been translated into practical understanding. The important thing to remember is this: the reading you receive should be read with an open mind, for the runes at times, seem to speak in parables. You should also know that runes are not based off of "doom and gloom fortune telling," and are not going to tell you horrible things about your life! That is not their intention. In fact, the most important thing to understand is the answers are meant to help direct you to your Right Path. They will offer suggestions for change and will reveal the best course of action for you to take in your life.
